 My
work is narrative in nature and speaks to images
that have resonance for me. Memories, locations,
objects can all evoke my sense of life under the
surface, and a fascination with what I detect,
but cannot see. I paint what gets stuck in the
filter...of the thousands of images that enter,
most depart as quickly. The ones that won't budge...
that's what makes it onto the canvas."
